Community Support Scheme

Business to provide support for local groups and clubs

This Community Support Scheme (Scheme) is designed to recognise the incredible work local service groups and clubs do in our community.  These groups require ongoing funding to continue these important services, such as assisting young and often new Mum’s, providing support and events for teenagers, improving community facilities and resources for our fire fighters.

The Scheme recognises those businesses that give back to their community.  Here’s your chance to help our unsung heroes.  Residents are also invited to make general donations help support these vital organisations.

From as little a as $50 donation your logo could appear on our Home Page. Please read our
Terms and Conditions

Recipient Groups

The following groups have been identified for their provision of vital and important services to our community.  Read on for more information about each of the groups and what they offer.

Caroline Springs Country Fire Authority

The Caroline Springs Fire Brigade (CFA) provides fire coverage and other general emergency response in Caroline Springs, Hillside, Taylors Hill and other Victorian locations as required. We have approximately 50 volunteers and 18 Career Staff who use a variety of technical and standard equipment, which in some cases, are purchased using community donations.

We appreciate community support and donations can be made directly to the Duty Officer/OIC - Caroline Springs Fire Station, 8-10 Caroline Springs Blvd, Caroline Springs (next to Hungry Jacks). Donations over $2.00 are tax deductable.

Lions Club of Caroline Springs & District

The Lions motto is “We Serve”. The Lions Club of Caroline Springs & District welcomes new members & financial support from the community.  Project fundraising includes sponsorship from a number of companies associated with our members, mostly from outside our local community, BBQs at Bunnings, grants from Community Benefits Program, Santa letters and sale of Christmas cakes.  All funds raised from these activities go to projects in the community.

Among other projects our club has purchased and erected three playgrounds in Caroline Springs, supported the Blackwood Special Outdoor Education Centre for disadvantaged kids, financially supported local youth programs, Vic Bushfire Appeal and provided support to local families to help them meet adversity.  Lions do not seek recognition or financial reward and do not gain financially by being members of the Club.

Mother's Network of Caroline Springs & Burnside Inc.

Mother’s Network was born from tragedy when a young mother took the life of her baby, thought to be due to Post Natal Depression (PND) and isolation,  Andrea opened her home in Caroline Springs, so that mothers could meet weekly.

The Network holds meetings in Caroline Springs, Diggers Rest, Hillside, Burnside and Sunbury.   Our broad aim is to help mothers and their families integrate and participate in their community, and to improve health and well-being.

Planned activities operate regularly such as monthly movie nights and 5 affordable Kinder Gym classes held every week.

Around 500 families receive our monthly newsletter promoting local events and services.

Mother’s Network bridges a very real gap in services to families in Melton that no other group provides.

The Reach Foundation

Our team of young Reach Crew run interactive workshops, weekends away and large-scale events instilling self-belief in young people. The main focus of our work is on prevention and early intervention.

We admire courage, and think a bit of madness and lots of passion and energy passion help on the journey to discovering greatness. We don’t judge people or put them down. We encourage an environment that is safe, free of prejudice and accepting of difference.

Your donations will contribute to ensuring the young people within your community continue to be provided a space where they are able to explore their lives at a deeper level, and ultimately gain a greater sense of self and begin to flourish.

Donations over $2.00 are tax deductable and can be made by following this link
